The start of the fall 2017 semester will usher in some new changes from OIT Learning Spaces Technology (LST) and how the group provides audio visual (A/V) equipment to the campus. This includes the introduction of a fee-based delivery service for non-centrally scheduled spaces and the elimination of VCR delivery or pickup.
End of VCR Delivery
Starting with the fall 2017 school year, OIT LST will no longer provide or deliver VCR players. If you have VHS tapes, we suggest that you use the University Libraries Media Conversion Services or any other external service to convert VHS tapes to a digital format.
A/V Equipment Rental
Starting with the fall 2017 semester, OIT LST will no longer deliver audio visual equipment for free to non-centrally scheduled spaces on the CU Boulder campus. Instead, departments will be able to rent data projectors and screens for a fee, by providing a speed type. All requests should go through 5-HELP, or help@colorado.edu. Equipment can be delivered to locations on the CU Boulder campus or picked up by the customer at Folsom Stadium, room 142, Gate 6, during regular business hours. Please note that requests for deliveries must be received 24 hours in advance of the desired delivery time and all deliveries are performed during regular university business hours.
