Canvas Is Ready for You

Submitted by stauffeg on

Instructors can now start developing their spring 2018 courses in Canvas. This tutorial will show you how. Not ready to switch to Canvas yet? A sandbox is waiting for you on your Canvas Dashboard to explore what Canvas has to offer. The Canvas launch doesn’t mean that D2L is immediately retired. Rather, D2L and Canvas will run in parallel through the spring 2019 semester.

Within days of your course being created, the latest version of your course will be migrated from D2L to Canvas. After the course appears in your Canvas Dashboard, you will be able to copy content from your migrated course into your newly created course in Canvas.

Need help getting started? Visit the Canvas Help page to access Canvas tutorials, a self-paced introductory course, register for a workshop, or find answers to your questions about Canvas.

For more information about the move to Canvas, visit the Desire2Learn to Canvas Migration website. For additional questions, contact the IT Service Center at help@colorado.edu or 303-735-4357 (5-HELP from a campus phone).
