Microsoft Windows - Student Verification

Follow this tutorial to verify your status as a student and start using Microsoft Windows.

Step

Navigate to https://signup.azure.com/studentverification?offerType=3 to start verification. 

Step

Enter your CU Boulder email account in the identikey@colorado.edu format and click next. 

Step

Enter IdentiKey password and click sign in. 

Please note: You may be required to authenticate using Microsoft 365 Multi-factor Authentication to complete the sign in process.

Complete the Academic Verification form. Use “University of Colorado Boulder (Boulder, CO)” as the school name, fill in the rest of the information and puzzle, then click next.

Click agree to the subscription and Azure Dev Tools for teaching agreement, then click the Verify academic status and accept terms button.

Once verified, you will be taken to the Microsoft Azure Education Overview web page.

Step

On the left pane, open Learning resources and select Software.

Step

If verification is successful, you'll find a list of available software products that you can start using.
